Roof Repair
Leaks, missing shingles, and flashing problems found and fixed, for homeowners across the northwest Twin Cities metro.
A Repair, When a Repair Is Right
Not every problem is a new roof. A lifted shingle, failed flashing around a vent, or a small section of storm damage is often a repair, and we will tell you so. We make our living on doing the work well over years, not on selling a replacement to someone who needs a half-day fix.
The catch with roof leaks is that water rarely shows up where it gets in. A stain on a bedroom ceiling can trace back several feet up the slope. We find the actual source before we fix anything, so the leak does not come back next storm.
Common Repairs We Handle
- Active leaks traced to their real source.
- Missing, cracked, or wind-lifted shingles.
- Failed flashing at chimneys, walls, and skylights.
- Damaged or loose vent boots and pipe collars.
- Ice-dam damage at the eaves and valleys.
- Storm and hail repairs documented for an insurance claim.
What to Do About a Leak Right Now
If you have an active leak, move what you can out from under it and place a bucket. If water is pooling against drywall above your head, a small hole in the low point of the bulge lets it drain in a controlled way instead of bringing the ceiling down. Then call us. A leak is the one roofing problem that gets more expensive the longer it waits.
When a Repair Is Not Enough
Sometimes we get on a roof expecting a repair and find a roof at the end of its life. When that happens we will show you photos and explain why, so you can decide with the full picture. See roof replacement for what that involves.
